Team BRM is the most successful team in the history of the Australian Formula 3 Championship – the statistics speak for themselves.

At the end of the 2008 season, Team BRM had won 86 of 170 Championship (Points Scoring) races contested.

The team has started all bar four races (It missed the final two rounds of the 2006 season when Ben Clucas had already wrapped up the title), which means it has in fact won 86 / 170 races – meaning it has won exactly half of every championship F3 race held in Australia.

The team has also won 11 of a possible 17 Non-Championship races at either the Formula 1 (TM) Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, New Zealand's Lady Wigram Trophy, or the Gold Coast IndyCar event in Queensland.

This brings the teams’ F3 win count to 97.

The team has scored 183 championship-race podium finishes.

The team has won six championships, namely:

The 2002 Championship with James Manderson
The 2004 Championship with Karl Reindler
The 2004 Trophy Class with Nic Jordan
The 2006 Championship & Gold Star with Ben Clucas
The 2008 Championship & Gold Star with James Winslow

The 2009 Championship & Gold Star with Joey Foster

The team also raced successfully in the 2004 Asian Formula 3 Championship with John Pettit, Aaron Caratti, Zahir Ali and Frank West – impressing the Asian establishment with podium finishes and a lap record that stood at the Batangas circuit for several seasons following.

In 2010 the team will continue to build on this amazing record of success with a multi-car team in the newly rebranded Formula 3 Australian Drivers Championship.

Team BRM owns and prepares Dallara F307 chassis powered by Mercedes Benz HWA engines, sourced from the F3 Euroseries (including cars from the Signature team) at the conclusion of the 2007 racing year.

Team BRM’s F3 program has strong European links and several ex-BRM drivers have progressed into either Testing or Racing opportunities in Europe thanks to opportunities created by the team, and the results in Australia.

The ultimate vindication of the F3 teams’ success was when it was selected to run Bruno Senna in his Formula 3 debut, at the 2006 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Bruno scored his first ever race win in a racing car with Team BRM.

2000: Peter Hackett scored Team BRM's first win in Australian F3, driving a Dallara F398 / Spiess
