Tom Goess - Team BRM Formula Ford Driver

As long as I can remember, speed and cars have been in my life.  From matchbox cars to model cars, video racing games and karting; one way or another it has fascinated me. It has become my life.

In 2009 I commenced my racing career with Formula Ford. I competed in both South Australian and Victorian state rounds. I placed well using a Kent powered Australian built Spectrum 06. During 2009 I took this older car to the front of the field with great results. I finished third in the Victorian state series after only competing three of the four rounds.

In late 2009, I ran a 09 Mygale. Competing for the first time in this car at the Super Truck Nationals round at Mallala. Not only did we place one race win; a second and a third place during the three race event,  we secured the overall round win.

In 2010 I have progressed to National level in Formula Ford driving the 09 Mygale. With fast and consistent laptimes during testing, hopes are high.

The 2010 season will be one of my most competitive yet and I am certain it will be an exciting ride. Preparation is vital and I am doing everything to ensure that I give myself the best possible opportunity to achieve my goals.

So join me on the journey and become part of something great.

Regards

Tom Goess
